Mental Skincare isn’t just a beauty brand — it’s a movement born from heartbreak, resilience, and an unwavering mission to break the stigma around mental health.
Founder Erynne first made her mark with the Catwalk Clothing store in Huntington Beach. But after stepping away from that chapter and embracing motherhood, she felt a deeper calling. When her mother died by suicide, it changed everything. The loss fueled a desire to create something meaningful — something that could spark awareness, conversation, and healing for others who might be suffering in silence.
As Erynne watched suicide rates rise and self-care practices decline, the urgency for mental health advocacy became impossible to ignore. Around the same time, a personal health scare brought her mission into sharper focus. After being diagnosed with precancerous cells in her lip, she underwent a grueling and painful treatment process — one that exposed how overlooked lip care is in the beauty world.
These two life-altering experiences — losing her mother and surviving her own health crisis — came together to inspire Mental Skincare. More than a brand, it's a testament to the belief that caring for your mind and body isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity.
After years of rejections, research, and relentless determination, Erynne finally found a partner who believed in her vision. Four years of development later, her first major shipment arrived — just days after her father passed away. She doesn’t see that as coincidence, but as a sign that this mission was always meant to be.
Mental Skincare is here to redefine beauty and self-care — infusing it with purpose, impact, and heart.
